Dr. Vinod Malik's journey into pain management began more than 20 years ago after completing residencies in anesthesiology at New York Medical College, where he was Chief Resident, and Metropolitan Hospital, New York. It was during this time that Dr. Malik’s conviction and passion for caring for patients in pain continued to grow. He went on to complete a fellowship in pain medicine at New York Medical College, Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, Valhalla, NY. Dr. Malik is double board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine.
A highly skilled physician with extensive experience in pain management, Dr. Malik is well regarded in the medical community by patients and colleagues alike. He has earned numerous accolades for his contributions to the field of pain management and for his high-quality, patient-centered care. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians (DABIPP), Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP), and Fellow, American Academy of Pain Management (FAAPM). He also has an active role in several other professional organizations, including the American Board of Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Florida Academy of Pain Medicine, and Florida Medical Association.
Acting on his commitment to treating patients in pain, Dr. Malik founded PRC Alliance Pain Relief Centers in 2000, where he serves as President. He leads a team of pain management specialists who are dedicated to relieving patients’ pain through exceptional and compassionate care. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Malik is active in teaching. He is an assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University and an on-site trainer for neurostimulation and intrathecal pumps. Dr. Malik is passionate about bringing the latest in medical technology to those who suffer from severe chronic pain conditions, and continues to explore ways he can help patients in this area.
