Svetlana Schukina, PA

I am a Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of experience in Acute Care Nursing, Pain Management and Internal Medicine. I graduated from Valencia College in Orlando with my Associate Degree in Science in Nursing in 2010. I worked as a RN for 8 years in the Winter Park Memorial Hospital serving local communities. To further my career and education, I attended St Pete College of Nursing where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. After that I entered Florida Southern College and graduated with Master of Science in Nursing in 2017. I began my career as a Nurse Practitioner in pain management with an integrative approach. I exhibit exceptional patient care and diligence in my pursuit of holistic treatment for my patients. My goal as a pain specialist is to partner with patients and their families to develop an individualized treatment plan to relieve, reduce, and manage pain to help patients improve functionality so they can return to their everyday activities. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and numerous outdoor activities such as jogging, biking, and going to the beach.

Nicholas Giordano, MD

Nicholas Giordano, MD received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, and completed an internship in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the State University of New York-Downstate Medical Center, and a fellowship in interventional pain management at The Spine and Pain Institute of New York. Dr. Giordano holds board certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Giordano provides personalized care to each of his patients, and utilizes the most innovative and proven pain treatments available. He has a special interest in neuromodulation and dorsal root ganglion stimulation. Dr. Giordano’s goal with each patient is to alleviate their pain and help them return to the activities they weren’t able to do, so they can truly enjoy life. When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Giordano enjoys spending time with family and friends, and stays active with sports and fitness activities.
