Laurie graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN with a bachelors of Science degree in nursing. She then completed her Master of Science in nursing and completed her FNP (family nurse practitioner) at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN. Following graduation she worked in various areas to include spine surgery, orthopedics, dermatology, and pain management. She has lived and practiced in Indiana, Arizona, and Florida. She has become a specialist in the area of comprehensive pain management for a variety of chronic pain conditions. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau national honor society and certified through AANP since 2007.
